BANNERALL
Privacy & your data
← HomeBannerfall is a hobby strategy game. This page describes what it stores about you and what happens to it when you leave.
What we store
- Your account (email or guest identity) and a display name.
- The games you play: your seats, moves, and turn history.
- Notification preferences, and any API keys you add for LLM opponents (encrypted at rest).
Exporting your data
While signed in, you can download everything we hold about you as a single JSON file from your account page.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account, we:
- Erase your personal data — profile, preferences, notifications, and saved API keys are permanently removed, and your login is deleted so you can no longer sign in.
- Keep the games running for everyone else. Multiplayer games are shared: your seats stay in place but are handed over to AI, so the games you were in stay coherent and playable for the other players. The seat is no longer linked to you.
Signing up again later with the same email creates a brand-new account with no access to the old one's data.
